Quest Time: Sunday March 25, 17:00 GMT (I think that's right, stupid US DST change is messing everything up.. Well, Noon for me, 1 PM for EST. I'm going to be on by Noon my time at least.) Open to: Anyone non-evil (preference to PCs with strong faith to a god, irregardless of class. Preference to PCs with "Good/Neutral Religous guild" interest)
A post:
Citizens of the Marches, Nesme, and surrounding areas. Recently, we have been threatened by threats from demons, Tiamatites, Malarites... Well, the list continues on. To combat these threats, I call for a unification. We, the people of the unified faiths for survival, righteousness, and nature, must unite to deal with these ever growing threats.
To begin this unity, I shall inform you of a new mission I was about to undertake. My fellow travelers have discovered rumors of a supposed Talos prophet near the walls of High Hold, which may be likely a cause in increased potency of storms and some of the Talos-followers activities. I have been guided to attempt to capture the false-prophet to determine Talos' wish in the area, and attempt to get repentance. In any case, he or she must be stopped. As this is a divine providence, I do feel obligated not to bring it to the attention of the Militia, or Legion, as they have much else on their hands.
So, here is my call to you. Join me in my quest to unify all non-evil followers of faith. To press for the safety and protection of all in the Marches. To discourage the worship and influence of destructive gods in the area.
And even if you do not wish to join me in my long term goals, please feel willing to assist with this "Talos prophet".
Oh, and I shall be establishing a ward for sensing darkness in the heart, so I would suggest those that have it not apply.
- Erilo Metailo, A Protector of the Church of Corellon
(OOC: This is a Guild introduction quest. Attendance isn't necessary for admittance, and admittance isn't needed for attendance. Guild will be open to all non-evil (though those that are Neutral but follow evil gods will be removed if discovered) PCs of strong faith (not necessarily priests). Planned guild goals: deal with religion-related threats, counteract destructive god influence in the region, attempt to get militia to require some form of medic (divine or mundane) on each patrol, if not in place already.)
*EDIT for NPC signature. Can't believe I forgot that.*
